Who I am
This website is operated by Damian, trading as Paphos Locksmith, an independent locksmith serving Paphos District, Cyprus. If you have any question about this policy or about your personal data, email damian@paphoslocksmith.cy or call 99 840 179.
What information I collect
If you use the contact form on this website, I collect the name, telephone number, email address, property location and description of the problem that you type into it. If you call, message or email me, I will have your telephone number or email address and whatever you choose to tell me. The website does not use advertising or tracking cookies and does not profile visitors.
Why I collect it and the legal basis
I use these details for one purpose only: to answer your enquiry, arrange the work and carry out the job you asked about. The legal basis is your consent when you send the form, and my legitimate interest in replying to people who contact my business. Where a job goes ahead, the legal basis is the performance of our contract. I do not use your details for marketing and I do not send newsletters.
Who I share it with
I do not sell or rent your personal data and I do not share it with marketing companies. Form submissions are delivered by email through the website's hosting provider (SiteGround), which acts as a processor on my behalf. I may share details with an accountant or with the authorities where the law requires it.
How long I keep it
Enquiries that do not lead to work are deleted within 12 months. Where I have carried out work, I keep the job and invoice records for as long as Cyprus tax and accounting law requires.
Your rights
Under the EU General Data Protection Regulation you can ask me for a copy of the personal data I hold about you, ask me to correct it, ask me to delete it, object to my using it, or withdraw your consent at any time. Email damian@paphoslocksmith.cy and I will respond within one month. If you are not satisfied, you can complain to the Office of the Commissioner for Personal Data Protection in Cyprus.
Security
This website is served over an encrypted HTTPS connection. Form submissions are sent to my own email address and are not stored in a database on the website.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the new version will be published on this page with an updated date.
